SYNTHETIC DREAMS

Oniria Sintonia 4b

Special Chapter 4: Impossible Rules

Hello, my delightful navigators of chaos!

Welcome back to Oniria Tune, the show where we unravel the rules of this dream world with a pinch of sass and a generous dose of sarcasm.

I’m Oniri, your favorite host, here to remind you once again that Oniria is not the cozy wonderland some of you like to believe it is. Today, we’re diving into a few rules that, well, make things a little more… interesting.

Rule number ten: Information shared in Oniria almost never makes it back to the Vigil. That’s right, my dear dreamers—your grand adventure where you were enlightened beings with magical powers? Yeah, that vanishes faster than your New Year’s resolutions. And trying to explain what happened to a friend in the real world? Get ready for awkward silences and confused stares.

So, my advice? Enjoy what happens here and don’t try making it breakfast conversation the next day.

Rule number thirteen: Experienced onironauts can create places that persist even after they’re gone. Congratulations, you’ve unlocked the Architect of Chaos level! These persistent spaces can be impressive… but also full of unexpected surprises.

Thinking of building your own safe haven? Cute. Just remember: it will also be influenced by the dreams of others. One day, you’ll have a majestic castle. The next? A gingerbread house being devoured by a giant teddy bear. Welcome to Oniria—where predictability is just another illusion!

Rule number fifteen: Specific places and characters don’t disappear just because their host does. What does this mean? That if you thought getting rid of an annoying dream NPC or demolishing a location would erase them for good… surprise! That’s not how it works.

Oniria always has a backup stored somewhere in the collective subconscious, waiting for the least convenient moment to restore itself. So, if you accidentally created a nightmare that hates you, you’d better find another way to deal with it—because rebooting the system is not an option.

And now, Oniri’s Advice for the Dreamingly Clueless: The more you try to remember every little detail of your dreams, the faster you’ll forget them. Instead of obsessing, just relax and embrace the chaos.

Besides, most of the time, the details you forget are the ones that could have gotten you into trouble. If Oniria wants you to remember something, you will. And if not? Well, you can always claim you forgot to dodge some uncomfortable questions.

That’s all for today, my brave explorers of the subconscious. Oniria has rules, but you have Oniri to explain them—and to laugh at them (and at you, if I’m being honest).

Until the next episode of Oniria Tune, where we’ll unravel more secrets and guide you toward new forms of chaos.

See you in your dreams!
